Elmar's in the Valley is certainly not a run of the mill restaurant. The combination of the largest micro brewery below the equator and the finest traditional German and modern European cuisine gives you one of the most unique dining experiences imaginable. Elmar's doesn't just brew beer; it follows the oldest food standards in the world, the 1516 Bavarian Purity Law. This means your beer is brewed to the traditional recipe, using the freshest ingredients, no preservatives and no filtering, giving you the finest quality ale. Elmar's restaurant encompasses the elegance of Bavarian hospitality with its solid timber floors, tables and chairs, in an open plan environment. This relaxing rustic area has topiary and planter boxes mingled amongst the seating, giving a wonderfully warm and inviting atmosphere. Outside the restaurant is a huge two acre beer garden, bringing a mix of the indoor European and outdoor Australian lifestyles.

Elmar's also boasts a smallgoods boutique. This is reminiscent of the traditional German beer houses, most of which were situated next to a smallgoods shop to compliment each others unique services. But the proof of the pudding is in the eating as they say, and that is what sets Elmar's apart.
